beautiful shots as always. hope you had a wonderful christmas and the best for the new year!

  5. I love these, Cait! I’m determined to someday take bird photos, but so far I have had no luck! I use a telephoto lens, but the birds are so skittish. I probably need to build a blind to get close enough. Hope you had a good Christmas!

  6. I don’t have a great lens for taking bird photos, but they were fairly accustomed to having people around, so it worked better than usual! Hope you had a good Christmas, too.

  7. It’s been a while since I last visted your blog, but your photos are always stunning!
Best Wishes for Happy Holidays and Happy New Year! 🙂

I am so happy to see this beautiful bird in your photos as sadly he doesn’t come this far west. Thank you for these lovely images and I wish you all the best for the coming year.

  9. Stunning photos of the cardinal, Cait; I bird I remember well! That unmistakeable and astonishing colour which marks it out against the snow. It would seem to act as a beacon to predators in its northern range, yet is resident far down south as well. So many things to learn about – thanks for getting me thinking about bird colour today!!

  10. Stunning photos! I’ve recently started photographing birds and am realizing who difficult it is to get shots like this.

    Happy New Year!
