Blue moon

Blue Moon, August 31

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing
and rightdoing there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass
the world is too full to talk about.”
-Rumi

Common Loon in early morning mist, August 19

I almost went to sleep without going outside for one last look at the moon, the sounds of crickets and howling coyotes bringing in September.

great shot of the moon. sadly, we were mostly cloudy here on the coast, so it was only dimly visible.
